A business site builds credibility with customers. Think of a business site as your virtual business address. It is where possible customers, and friends can contact you, and it is where they can get the information they need to make an informed decision.

A good business site makes an e-mail address more reliable and trustworthy. By having a personal or business address on your website you increase your credibility. Your potential customers will have a better feeling about you when they know your business address and website address are valid. This is especially true for potential clients that are new to your niche market.

When choosing your domain name, keep in mind what your business is. Are you selling information? A service-based business could use a site that sells books or reports. A product-based business could use a site that sells information or services. If you have a hobby that is unique, consider a domain name that reflects the nature of your business.
